louobedlam: We spent lunch talking about inspiration.   Know what inspires me? Getting film in the mail.  A big giant box full of film I wasn’t expecting, some of which I’d never tried before.   When you’ve paid for it, the shot doesn’t go quite right and you fume, you sulk.   But when this wasn’t exactly what I was expecting…no problem! It was free!  LET US EXPERIMENT WITH THIS IMPERFECT FILM.   Just playing around, that’s when it’s the best.
